Event | October 20, 2017 - October 20, 2017 | 9.30-15.30 | Ballroom 1, Fairmont Hotel, Makati City

The Making All Voices Count (MAVC) Program (www.makingallvoicescount.org) in the Philippines started in 2014 and identified participatory budgeting and resilience to natural disasters as the program’s entry points for programmatic work.

Since then, Making All Voices Count supported 17 grants that focused on significant reforms in governance, more particularly disaster resiliency, participatory processes in fiscal transactions, elections, government monitoring, and the use of technology in the extractive sector.

As Making All Voices Count comes to a close, a learning and inspiration event titled, “Adapting for Change: A Forum on Innovations for Better Governance” will be held on 20 October 2017, Friday, 9:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.  at the Ballroom 1, Fairmont Hotel, Makati City.

This will be attended by Making All Voices Count partners and stakeholders from government, the donor community, academia, private sector, and media to engage in meaningful discussions on how the initiatives and lessons can be further supported, scaled, adapted, or replicated  to achieve the goals of transparency, citizen empowerment, and better governance.

The activity is co-organized with the European Chamber of Commerce in the Philippines (ECCP).
