Making All Voices Count will bring together technologists and governance players from within its networks to share experiences and deepen understanding of the role of local government in tech for governance project in Tanzania. Specifically, this full-day session endeavors to:

• Present best practice cases from the Making All Voices Count portfolio around collaboration with local government (Community for Children’s Rights (CCR), Restless Development and Jamii Media).
• Hear perspectives from local government officials on what incentivizes them to collaborate with existing tech for governance projects (Arusha Councilor Amani E. Reward from the CCR project and local government participants from the Restless Development and Jamii Media projects in Temeke and Kigamboni).
• Jointly come up with a best practice guideline on how to successfully engage local government in (tech for) governance projects
