As Making All Voices Count comes towards a close, there is an important process of reflection underway around the pathways for more effective citizen voice and more responsive, accountable governance. This internal learning event will bring together the programme's Pakistan partners to share lessons, generate synergies and understand at the collective level how these sorts of approaches might affect power, politics and change within a very specific context.
The two-day learning event will :
- explore the role of digital technologies in connecting people in Pakistan around issues of information, innovation and feedback as they relate to accountability and governance
- discuss the key lessons learned from the MAVC initiatives in Pakistan
- identify the moments and sequences of change around accountability in Pakistan to better understand when and in what order interventions for change might be structured.
Most of the sessions of the event are only open to MAVC grantees, but the facilitators and participants will host a public panel discussion for an audience of other civil society and government stakeholders interested in understanding accountability issues in Pakistan.
