The Global Conference on Transparency Research (GCTR) brings together leading scholars from all over the world to collectively advance understanding of the impact and implications of transparency policies involving governments, either directly or indirectly. The GCTR includes experts from a wide range of fields including sociology, anthropology, political science, public administration, economics, political economy, journalism, communication sciences, business, history, philosophy, and law.
The 5th Global Conference on Transparency Research will take place from June 19 to June 21, 2017 and will be held at the University of Limerick in Ireland. This year, the conference is being jointly organised by the University of Limerick and the University of Baltimore in the USA, in association with the University of Dar es Salaam in Tanzania and Makarere University in Uganda.
Rosie McGee of Making All Voices Count will be presenting findings from the programme's research.
