Event | July 1, 2015 - July 3, 2015

Wits Radio Academy’s annual radio conference, Radio Days Africa, is held July 1st – 3rd in Johannesburg.

An annual gathering of radio leaders from the continent, the conference brings together 50 top international speakers and more than 200 delegates from public, commercial and community radio stations.

The theme for this year is Radio 2.0 and concentrates on new shapes and forms of the medium.

A panel will be facilitated by Nooshin Erfani-Ghadimi, Project Coordinator of Wits Justice Project, an innovation which won a Gold Award as part of Making All Voices Count’s Global Innovation Competition 2015.

During this feature, one other winning idea from the competition, from Mozambique, will reflect on how they’re using community radio to promote more accountable governance.
