This is a decisive year for the future of the Partnership, as it seeks to deepen the impact of the Open Government principles - transparency, accountability, citizen participation and innovation - by highlighting their potential as means for improving people’s lives.

Open Government Partnership 2015

The Post-2015 United Nations Development Agenda will be announced on September 2015, and the OGP Global Summit will follow with a gathering of nearly 1,500 open government champions from more than 60 countries, who can commit to continue strengthening the principles of open government as enablers of sustainable development.

The Summit’s theme is: Openness for All - Enabling Sustainable Development. Making All Voices Count and Hivos will be co-hosting a series of events looking at the role of infomediaries, discussing how information can be gathered, analysed and best used to support effective and accountable governance.
