RightsCon Toronto 2018, described as "the world’s leading event on human rights in the digital age" brings together business leaders, policy makers, general counsels, government representatives, technologists, and human rights defenders from around the world to tackle some of the most pressing issues at the intersection of human rights and digital technology. This is a space for breaking down silos, creating partnerships, and driving large-scale, real-world change toward a more free, open, and connected world.

Many of the themes for this seventh event of the RightsCon Summit Series are very relevant to our work, including:

  • Civic Tech, Citizenship and E-Governance
  • Digital Tech and Sustainable Development
  • Responsible Business, Transparency and Accountability
  • Diversity and Digital Inclusion
  • Artificial Intelligence, Automation and Algorithmic Accountability

The deadline for submissions is 11:59pm Pacific Time on November 24, 2017.
